Absolute gem of a find. Searched for somewhere special to celebrate our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday. Impressed with reviews and they weren't wrong. Steaks were amazing, cooked to perfection, generous portions for very reasonable price. Good menu choices save for no cheese and onion pie. Desserts were mouth watering too. Prompt, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

Lady on the phone was very friendly so that was a good start. Turned up on the Thursday to be welcomed by a lovely, friendly woman (think her name is Jo but not sure) who showed us to our table. We had our drinks ordered and delivered and food ordered within 2-3 mins and had the food delivered in less than 10mins.
The food portion sizes were massive and delicious, the photos don't do the portion sizes justice. From that original phone call all the way through to paying, everything was brilliant. Will 100% be back, might even make the 30 min drive on my birthday just for a meal.- Meal type

Lovely vegan fish & chips (using banana blossom) and for a reasonable price too. They have a few other vegan options on their menu too. Definitely recommend!

The staff were absolutely lovely and made a point of asking if any of us had any allergies. The staff checked to make sure our meals were good and if we were happy with the food plus offered containers for if we wanted to take any food with us. I went with my partner and our 2 children. The food was outstanding and the service was of very high standards. We will definitely be returning 10/10.

There lunchtime with my husband for a wedding anniversary meal. Lovely welcoming attentive staff.Fab service & food. I had steak & ale pie & chips my husband had salt water mega burger .chips & side order of garlic bread Both were huge ..I had planned on having a pud after but couldn't manage one 😳 Will pay another visit soon .

I am not afraid to say it, I basically have 4 daddies... As up and coming member of the daddy club (even with my poor excuse of facial hair) this ticks all the boxes you would want as a dad. Beers, plentiful of food, great portions and fantastic drinks. People might say I have daddy issues but let's change that mindset. I only have daddy solutions and this restaurant should solve all your problems, daddy recommends.

Called in on the recommendation of a friend. So pleased we did. Food was so nice. Steak cooked just as requested. Great service. Very helpful regarding gluten free menu items too.

Today we tried the Fully Loaded Cajun Chicken Burger. WOW it was big!!! Probably one of the best burgers I’ve tried in a long time. I totally recommend it!.- Service

The food that came to our table was the best value for money I've had in the UK.. no exaggeration.!!!. Steak was served to perfection 👌. Onion rings as big as oil pipes to.!!!... Chips t die for.....

Great location and very good service. Though it is not a sunny day, we still enjoy strolling in the little town and having a good meal in the Saltwater Inn, with a kind arrangement on sitting by the window.

I had cajun chicken burger & my wife had corned beef pie.
OMG, the portions were huge. The handcut chips were like we wedges & everything was cooked perfectly.
It was very busy when we arrived at 12.30 (no booking) so we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table, not a problem as we went shopping.
Surprisingly my pint of Pepsi max was only £1.98 😲 where I'm used to paying a lot more.
Very friendly staff, excellent value for money & a nice atmosphere for a lunch time.
We will definitely be coming back for date night & I'm looking forward to a 20oz steak.
Also will recommend to family & friends.
